Lisa Althaus, Steve Gibbons:
Dex One Corporation announced the promotion of Lisa Althaus as vice president for national sales. She will be based in Denver and report directly to Dave Moore, senior vice president of sales.

Althaus will be responsible for the continued development and execution of Dex One's national sales strategy, including the company's partnerships with Certified Marketing Representatives (CMRs). Althaus will assume the role from Stephen Gibbons, who has been tapped to lead an important internal business initiative.

Althaus has more than 25 years of industry experience, much of it in national sales. Most recently, she was Dex One's Midwest sales director. Previously she was general manager of national sales for Sprint Publishing & Advertising, where she oversaw the creation of the company's national sales department and managed relationships with more than 300 agencies across the United States.

"As we continue to move forward and grow our business, we're very excited to have an individual as talented and knowledgeable as Lisa heading Dex One's national sales efforts," Moore said. "We're confident that Lisa's extensive experience, both in our industry and working with CMRs, will ensure continued success for both Dex One and our clients."
Edie Carver, Carey Bernier
The board of directors of Information Pages announced the resignation and retirement of Edie Carver as chief executive officer. M. Carey Bernier, Information Pages' chief operating officer and cofounder of the company in 1999, has been named chief executive officer and will serve as the chairman of the board. Bernier, 42, will also retain his duties as chief operating officer.

"We thank Edie for her leadership over the past five years. She revitalized Information Pages during a critical and transitional period in the company's history. Edie oversaw the resurgence of Information Pages in the yellow pages industry and ushered in the greatest year-to-year growth in Information Pages' history," said Bernier.

During Carver's tenure, Information Pages' client base increased more than 600%. Information Pages currently provides the premier Internet Yellow Pages solution for more than 40 independent yellow page publishers both domestically and abroad along with dozens of TELCOs across the U.S.

"It's been a real pleasure to work as a member of such a committed and inspired team. We have re-established our position as the leading IYP provider in the industry," said Carver. "Information Pages is at an exciting time in their history as they continue to provide outstanding service and products to the industry including a voice-activated iPhone application recently introduced at the ADP Partners Tradeshow, a newly updated LocalScout Publisher Network, and a first-of-its-kind web-based print pagination system. Retiring at this time, given the company's growth, is bittersweet, but I have confidence that Carey, along with the company's continued innovative technology, will further secure Information Pages' position in the industry. I've created many friendships in the industry over the years and I look forward to continuing those relationships in my new more limited role as a consultant to the company."
