Ken Adams
Innovectra Corporation announced that the company has hired Yellow Pages industry veteran, Ken Adams as Director of Sales. Ken is responsible for establishing new business partnerships with online directory publishers and Yellow Pages companies through ActivImpact, the company's next generation digital media publishing solution - a fully integrated IYP platform featuring keyword search, online ordering, provisioning and detailed reporting of search engine optimization results.

Ken joins Innovectra as a 20 year sales and marketing professional who has an established network of contacts throughout the directory publishing industry. "We are excited to have a person with such strong credentials and an excellent track record joining our team", said Scott Feder, Vice President of Sales. "together we will work to expand our select group of directory publisher clients throughout the U.S. and internationally."

Ken Adams is based in Atlanta, GA where he earned bachelor degrees in business from Georgia State University. Previously, Mr. Adams was with Jaduka, Web.com, BellSouth Advertising & Publishing Company and Stonesoft, Inc.
Bill Dinan
Telmetrics, a leading provider of call measurement solutions, announced that the company's board of directors has promoted senior vice president and director of yellow pages strategy Bill Dinan to president. Former president Richard Zurawski will remain on the board of directors and will serve as the company's chief financial officer.

Responsible for leading Telmetrics" evolution from print-centric tools to multi-media, leads-based measurement solutions, Dinan was appointed president due to his breadth of call measurement experience and success working with local search publishers and advertisers to integrate the company's call tracking solutions.

"I look forward to driving Telmetrics" next stage of growth, building new strategic partnerships and expanding our solutions in online and traditional media channels," said Dinan. "Our proven track record in local search and our scalable call measurement technology have set a solid foundation for the company. With the proliferation of media choices, there has never been a more important time for publishers and advertisers to prove value."

An accomplished executive for both print and interactive media, Dinan joined Telmetrics in 1998 and played an integral role in establishing Telmetrics" brand leadership in the Yellow Pages industry. He has held many roles within the company and previously oversaw the company's technology group where he provided strategic direction for key product innovations, including cross-media ROI reporting and performance-based measurement solutions.
Alan See
Berry Network, Inc. (BNI) has appointed Alan See the new Vice President of Marketing, reporting to Debra Crawford, Executive Vice President of Berry Network, Inc.

"Alan is a senior marketing executive with the rare ability to speak Web 2.0 and Sales 101 in the same sentence," Crawford said. "Alan has experience helping organizations cost effectively increase leads, through both traditional media channels as well as new social media platforms. We are confident Alan's experience will be a tremendous asset to the organization and to our clients," concluded Crawford.

See also serves as an associate faculty member at the University of Phoenix where he facilitates courses in Marketing. He holds BBA and MBA degrees from Abilene Christian University and resides in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Sylvester Johnson
R.H. Donnelley announced the appointment of Sylvester J. Johnson as vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer. Johnson will be based in the company's Cary, N.C. headquarters and report to R.H. Donnelley Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Steven M. Blondy.

With more than 25 years of public accounting and financial leadership experience, Johnson most recently served as vice president and controller for 7-Eleven, Inc., a $14 billion multi-national retailer. Prior to joining 7-Eleven, Inc., Johnson was vice president of finance for The Dallas Morning News, senior finance manager for Yum! Brands Inc./Pepsico, Inc., and held various accounting roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Johnson, 49, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of Notre Dame, and a Masters of Business Administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky.
Thayer Bigelow, Ron Rittenmeyer, & Mike Connors
R.H. Donnelley announced that Thayer Bigelow and Ron Rittenmeyer have joined the company's board effective April 1, 2009.

Bigelow is an experienced senior executive from the cable television industry and is currently the managing general partner of Bigelow Media, LLC, a media investment and consulting firm.

During his tenure with Time Inc. and Time Warner, Bigelow served as president and chief executive officer of Time Warner Cable Programming; interim CEO of Court Room Television Network; president and COO of HBO; president of American Television and Communications; and CFO for Time Inc. Aside from his senior leadership experience, Bigelow has significant Board experience with companies including Adelphia Communications, Crane Co. and Lord Abbett & Co.

Bigelow received his bachelor's degree from Trinity College, and a master's in business administration from the University of Virginia Colgate Darden Business School.

Rittenmeyer is the former president and chief executive officer of EDS, which was sold to Hewlett-Packard (HP) in August of 2008. Before the acquisition, Rittenmeyer directed a company-wide business transformation that increased the organization's productivity and quality, while instilling accountability at every level of the organization. Prior to the HP acquisition, Rittenmeyer also served as chairman of the board of directors for EDS.

Rittenmeyer has held senior leadership positions across multiple industries. He served as managing director of The Cypress Group, a private equity firm; chairman, CEO and president of Safety-Kleen, Inc.; CEO and president of AmeriServe; chairman, CEO and president of RailTex, Inc.; president and COO of Ryder TRS, Inc.; president and COO of Merisel; COO of Burlington Northern Railroad; and a variety of senior management roles with PepsiCo's Frito Lay and PepsiCo's Foods International Divisions.

Rittenmeyer received his bachelor's degree in commerce and economics from Wilkes University, and a master's in business administration from Rockhurst University.

The company also announced that Mike Connors has resigned from the board effective March 30 and that Nancy Cooper will be leaving the board following the next regularly-scheduled board meeting later this month. Connors, chairman and CEO of Information Services Group, Inc., and Cooper, executive vice president and chief financial officer of CA, Inc., both cited increased business and other commitments as reasons for stepping down.
Fred Moroni
Fred Moroni has accepted a new position with AT&T's Advanced Ad Solutions Group.

As AT&T's National New Business Manager, his team presents Advanced Ad Solutions to National clients on, AT&T's New Media products such as YellowPages.com, subscription, banners, pay per click/pay per call, U-Verse Television Banners/timed spots, MEdianet advertising campaigns (AT&T's mobile browser platform) and 1-800 Yellow Pages Internet advertising as well as the traditional print products and pay per call models.

Moroni's prior career included positions such as Senior Vice President-Global Sales for Call Genie, Inc. (Canada), Vice President Sales for United Yellow Pages (based in Southern California), Vice President Sales for the SunShine pages (based in New Orleans, LA), Vice President Sales for McLeod USA (based in Cedar Rapids, IA), Vice President of sales for the TALX Corporation (based in St. Louis, MO) and General Manager for American Directory (based in St. Louis, MO).
Bob Allen
Bob Allen announced his retirment as President of Associated Publishing Company, Inc. After twenty-four years with the company, Bob spent the last fifteen as its president.

Bob Allen says, "It has been a truly gratifying experience for me to have participated in leadership with shareholders as we built the company from a small, troubled start up business in 1985 to the company it is today. I am looking forward to seeking new challenges, most likely outside the yellow pages industry, given the integration of APC operations with White Directory Publishers, now essentially and successfully complete."

As a long time contributing member of ADP, its Board of Directors and its officers, Larry Angove, President of ADP, notes, "Bob's retirment will be a loss to the Association. We wish him and his wife all the best."

Bob adds, "Membership in the Association of Directory Publishers (in its various organizational forms over the past 24 years) and service on the Board of Directors has been an equally gratifying trip. The opportunities to meet and share best practices with many of you has contributed to the success of APC, particularly in the early years as we learned the business together. I have made many friends for life during this association and I will continue to treasure each one.God Bless each of you as you continue The Journey."

Geoff Kehoe
The news is that Pete Broadbent has "decided to step down" as CEO of Wahlstrom Group. The changed is expected to take effect at the end of May. Geoff Kehoe is the new President.

Kehoe's background most has been at recently Motorola Mobile as the head of Global E-commerce. In this role he supposedly led the launch of the RAZR V3 phone, along with many other breakthrough product and service introductions over the last six years.

He also led Motorola's Brand communications for the Mobile Devices Business including ownership of all creative & media strategy and execution, directing the brand team and agency relationships with an annual budget reported of $100M+. His other agency experience was back in 1998-2000 where he was a Sr. VP Group Account Director at Draft Worldwide. Kehoe was also EVP, Sales & Marketing at Econometrics, Inc. a Market Research company from 1993 - 1998.

Broadbent has been CEO of Wahlstrom Group since December, 2002. He originally joined Wahlstrom in 1983 at the agency's headquarters office in Connecticut but was transferred to the agency's California office (Wahlstrom - West) to the position of manager of sales and marketing with responsibilities which included marketing management of the office's major client programs. In 1988, he returned to the agency's headquarters in Connecticut to assume account management responsibilities and direct Wahlstrom's new business efforts. He was named president of Wahlstrom in 1998 and in 2001, oversaw the merger of Bozell Yellow Pages, Initiative Media Directory Marketing, and Wahlstrom to form what is now the Wahlstrom Group.

Broadbent has been active in the industry, serving as a Board of Director member at the Yellow Pages Association. He has also served on the board of directors of the Insurance Marketing Communications Association (IMCA) and the National Yellow Pages Agency Association (predecessor to the Association of Directory Marketing - ADM).
Robert Coen
Robert J. Coen, the chief forecaster at Magna, a unit of Interpublic Group's Mediabrands, is stepping down from his present role after a career spanning six decades. "Bob Coen is the unequaled dean of advertising forecasting, and the benchmark by which all those in advertising, media and finance have gauged their own expectations for the advertising economy," said Leland Westerfield, managing director at BMO Capital Markets. Brian Wieser, an SVP at Magna, will succeed Coen as lead forecaster for the shop, while Coen will assume an advisory role at Magna. The New York Times (3/22)
